Experience
I have worked a lot with teenagers in the past in teaching situations. I taught an after school guitar program at Dixon elementary for one semester in the fall of 2005, I worked as a human service worker for Wasatch Mental Health, teaching social skills development classes to kids with ages ranging from 5 to 17. I currently teach private guitar lessons and tutor people in Russian. My SAT score was 1160. I enjoy teaching and tutoring in these subjects because they are things that I'm passionate about. I really enjoy sharing my passions with other people and helping them understand them, hopefully even helping them feel passionate about it too. I can play the guitar, bass, drums, saxophone, and piano, though my main instrument is the guitar, which I have been playing for 15 years. I am currently enrolled in a class studying personality theories and another studying interpersonal relations. In the past, I have worked for a company as a typesetter, and my duties included checking documents for spelling and grammar errors, as well as ensuring that the final product looked professional and was pleasing to the eye. Because of this job I am very familiar with Word, Photoshop, and InDesign. I am currently a junior at Utah Valley University with a GPA of 3.3.
