I'm a tutor who is based out of Salt Lake City, Utah, where I enjoy watching and playing sports in addition to cooking when I'm not in the classroom working with students. I'm a current undergraduate student at Brigham Young University, where I'm majoring in public health. I hope one day to become a hospital administrator. More importantly to my tutoring work, though, is my passion for the Spanish language. I'm minoring in Spanish at Brigham Young University, but I've had a deep interest for the language since the eighth grade, when I won an award at school for my work in the language. I continued to study Spanish throughout high school, and eventually served an LDS mission in Southern Spain, where I really solidified my mastery of the language. I learned how to communicate with people one step at a time while in Spain, which allowed me to lay a solid foundation upon which to build for the rest of my stay. I know that students sometimes struggle with learning a new language like Spanish. However, I firmly believe that every student has the ability to master the language if they have the right level of dedication, along with the proper guidance. As a tutor, I seek to provide the guidance my students need to help them really excel in their language learning. If you think I can help, I'd be honored to work with you.
