Experience
I have had ample experience tutoring in various situations. During my high school years, I was a French and English tutor. I also had the chance to tutor in math and was able to help a fellow student graduate because of it. I spent a year in a classroom for struggling freshman where I was able to tutor in many different areas, including reading, writing and communication skills. That same year, I was able to spend time helping out in a special education classroom and teaching those children to communicate effectively with the resources they had. I scored a 5 on the AP Calculus, AP English Literature, and AP English Language exams. I also scored a 4 on the AP European History exam. I want to be a tutor because it is extremely fulfilling to me to be able to help others learn and grow. I love seeing people progress and become able to do things they thought were impossible. I'm a Computer Science Major at the moment, so I'm very familiar with the C++ programming language, as well as various others.
