EducationEarned a BS in Mechanical Engineering at Utah State (USU) with a minor in Mathematics. I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering at BYU. I graduated USU with a 3.79 GPA (literally 2/1000ths of a point away from a 3.8).
ExperiencePrevious Tutoring: At BYU-I I tutored Chemistry I, Principles of Physics, and Calculus I & II. I have tutored in both individual and group settings. I have previously tutored students in high school level math and physics; one student learned enough to earn his GED from studying with me.
I love tutoring others. I want to be a university professor/ researcher, therefore I feel that my natural abilities lie within the classroom. I enjoy watching others progress and improve; it gives me a sense of accomplishment and joy. I also know that hard work in one's academic career has a lot of carryover to the professional world and want to help other people do the best they can in the classroom.
HobbiesI love puzzles and performing music. I loved my time volunteering at a local daycare back home. Other things I enjoy doing in my spare time are Crossfit, rock climbing, and hiking with my wife.
