The school of writing is incredibly empowering, but the traditional way students are taught to write is so rigid that many students end up disliking it. When I tutor students in writing, I encourage them to embrace it by showing them how it can help them in their life and career goals while helping them enjoy composition and gain a solid command of the technical aspects of writing. I enjoy helping students develop their voice and bring out in their writing. I've been a tutor, teaching assistant, and creative writing group leader, and this has given me a lot of experience in how to assist students in putting together effective essays. I want students to develop the skills so that they can write effectively without my help. In my spare time, I like to write, play video games, be active in the community, and travel.
