I graduated in April of 2016 with a degree in Anthropology from Brigham Young University. Anthropology demanded excellence in the subjects of critical reading, writing, and the social sciences. I am also familiar with AP material, and am more than comfortable with elementary level math and science.
Experience
I was a TA at BYU in the Anthropology department, and in the role I specifically focused on teaching writing and social theory. I received a 34 on the ACT, and 5's on the following AP exams: Literature, Language, US History, US Government, Comparative Government, and World History. I have taken creative writing courses as well. I want to be a tutor in order to uplift students and help them realize that they can achieve their educational goals if given the tools they personally need to do so.
