I scored a 34 on my ACT, was a high school Sterling Scholar, National AP Scholar, and American Chemical Society National Chemistry Olympiad qualifier. I graduated valedictorian with a 4.0 GPA. I am a BYU National Merit Scholar, where I have maintained a 3.98 GPA and been recognized as a Distinguished Student by the Department of Mathematics. Between my time tutoring and serving as an LDS missionary, I have over four years of teaching experience. If you're looking for an affordable, friendly, flexible tutor, I'm the one to call! My approach to tutoring is different in that I I don't only teach students material--I teach them how to learn. I join with my students in setting goals and making plans to achieve academic success. My goal is to make all of my students independent learners, capable of facing challenges with excitement and confidence.

I'm a man of many tastes. When I'm not reading a good book, you can usually find me climbing a mountain or cooking up a new recipe. I love learning and trying new things.
